Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced and task-oriented persons to fill the following positions that have arisen in Council;

DIRECTOR OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY SERVICES – GRADE 15 (REPORTING TO TOWN SECRETARY).

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should be in possession of a degree in Administration, Social Science, Local Governance or Rural and Urban planning development or equivalent from a reputable university
A Master’s Degree in Administration, Public Management, Public Health, Development, Public Policy, Strategic Management or Governance will be an added advantage.
A minimum of 5 years post qualification managerial experience, with not less than 3 years at senior level preferably in a local authority or local government environment.
Experience in housing delivery, education, health or other social service delivery programs in a local authority is highly desirable.
A results oriented person with high need to achieve and contribute to the development target of Chipinge Town.
Mature communicator with good interpersonal skills, able to interact at all levels and produce analytical management reports.
Astrategic thinker capable of long term planning and effective problem solving.
Ateam playerwith demonstrable leadership with innovation qualities.
Knowledge of Program based budgeting.
Knowledge of servicing Council and committee meetings
Computer literate and should have a clean Class 4 driver’s licence and preferably a valid defensive driving certificate.
Acitizen of Zimbabwe
Aleast 30 years old
Clean criminal record
