Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director – Corporate and Legal Services plays a pivotal role in the corporate governance of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision of legal advisory services.
- Enhancement of good corporate governance.
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations.
- Providing secretarial services to the Board and Board Committees.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree
- A commercial post graduate degree is an added advantage
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience working as an in-house legal counsel in a commercial entity.
- Membership to a professional body
- He/She must be; decisive, creative, initiative, highly motivated, flexible, a team player, analytical, able to work to tight deadlines, possessing good communication, interpersonal, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
