A locally based Christian Children’s Home situated approximately 25km from the Bulawayo Business District is seeking applications for the position of a Director from suitably qualified persons.

REQUIREMENTS
– Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
– Public relations. Business management or related field will be an added advantage
– Aged 40 years and above
– A comprehensive Curriculum Vitae
– Valid Police clearance
– Physically Fit
– Ability to work under pressure

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and manage the following:
• To maintain a strong working relationship with other international partners by actively communicating with staff liaison and providing ministry reports when requested.
• Make personal contact and establish relationships with local CBC and community organisations to inform them of our referral program and other services available in partnership with area churches.
• Proactively seek speaking opportunities in which all ministry programs of CBC and Orphan Care are shared.
• To participate in education opportunities and training in professional seminars, workshops and conferences.
• Ability to listen and discern then develop, execute and maintain strategic, individualised, orphan care ministry plans based on the desires and needs of the church.
• Ability to accurately research and communicate needs of children and families.
• Skilled in delegating and sharing responsibilities with other personnel as the situation requires.
• To keep records of all contacts and activities.
• To perform such duties as assigned.
• To oversee the business units.
• Solid knowledge of the church culture is required.
