DIGITAL DESIGNER (1 POST)

QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate must:

Be a holder of a first degree in Media and Communication or equivalent and a relevant Master’s degree;
Have good understanding of visual graphic design principles;
Possess experience in digital design of documents is a must;
Exhibit digital content skills;
Have strong knowledge of current digital design best practices and web production techniques; and
Possess experience in creating digital assets for a variety of target audiences.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Digital Designer assesses the needs of the customer along with any design specifications from the brand or other stakeholders;
Participates in design discussions and gives feedback during planning and strategy meetings;
Translates ideas into sketches, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes;
Tests assets and optimizes them based on their performance;
Iterates new designs based on user feedback;
Creates digital assets (static, video, and HTML) for a range of platforms;
Creates website assets from hero design to web animations;
Designs and develops homepages, landing pages, and email concepts; and
Creates and executes concepts for digital advertising.
