Key Responsibilities
- Digital Strategy and Channel Management
Develop, implement, and manage the University’s overarching digital communications and marketing strategy across all relevant platforms. - Content Creation and Campaign Execution
Create, curate, and schedule high-quality, platform-specific content, including written posts, graphics, video, and interactive media, to tell the MSU story. - Data Analysis and Performance Optimisation
Monitor, analyse, and report on key digital performance metrics (web traffic, social engagement, conversion rates, campaign ROI) using tools like Google Analytics and social insights. - Community Management and Reputation Monitoring
Proactively manage the University’s online community, responding to comments and messages in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
Requirements
- A degree in Digital Marketing, Communications or Media Studies
- A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in digital marketing
- Proven track record of managing social media accounts and digital campaigns
- A professional qualification in Digital Marketing/equivalent is an added advantage
- In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, CMS (e.g., WordPress), and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp).
- Experience managing paid social media and PPC campaigns.
- Competence in using Google Analytics and social media insights to drive strategy.
- A solid understanding of search engine optimization, generative engine optimisation and marketing principles.
- Skills in creating engaging digital content, including basic graphic design (e.g., Canva) and video editing.
