VACANCY
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Plant Fitter to join our team. Key Responsibilities
•Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair diesel-powered equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to detect potential problems and implement timely corrective actions.
•Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to maintain a safe and efficient operation of equipment and machinery.
•Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.
Qualifications and Experience
•Class 1 Journeyman Card in Diesel Mechanics or a related field
•Minimum of 5 years post-apprenticeship experience in a similar role
•Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and hydraulic systems
•Knowledge of safety, health, environmental, and quality management systems
•Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
•A valid Class 2 driver’s license is an added advantage
•Applicants must be 35 years or older
