MAZOWE RDC – SAMANO EXPLORATION AND MINING COMPANY (PRIVATE) LIMITED is seeking qualified personnel for the following vacancies:

• DIAMOND DRILLING MACHINE OPERATOR.

Required is a qualified Diamond Drilling Operator, with a Heavy equipment certificate, responsible for safe and effective operation of large rotary, percussion/hammer core drills. The successful incumbent will report to the Project Geologist and the role is based in remote site Operations. The ideal candidate is one who is committed to safe work practices and strives for zero harm.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Operating Diamond Core Drill equipment according to company procedures and standards;
• Ability to set up and operate a variety of diamond core drilling machines to specified hole depths and hole inclinations
• Conducts daily safety checks and inspections of the equipment before operating:
• Monitors the Drilling equipment Drilling Rods, Bits. Oils, accessories and rectifies/reports any deficiencies to ensure continued efficient machine operation and availability.
• Supervising the Diamond Drilling support teams ensuring strict adherence to Safe Working practices and QAQC for Core handling, Core cleaning, Core labelling and safe storage in Core trays
