Diagnostic Sonographer

Job Responsibilities:

– Ensure positive patient identification and clear diagnostic images
– Adjust sonographic equipment and patient positions as needed
– Monitor and care for patients during procedures
– Examine images for differences between healthy and pathological areas
– Present sonograms and findings to referring doctors
– Complete documentation and maintain patient records
– Assist physicians and healthcare teams during invasive procedures
– Maintain and clean sonographic equipment
– Ensure efficient and safe patient care

Skills & Abilities:

– Proficiency in ultrasound technology and imaging techniques
– Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols

Educational Qualifications:

– Post-grad or MSc in Ultrasonography
– Minimum 1 year experience in the private sector
