**Role Purpose:**
Reporting to the General Manager, this position exists to create an external environment for the growth of the organisation and to respond to customer, producer, and stakeholder needs whilst developing and implementing effective mineral marketing and resource accounting strategies. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving organisational performance, strategic growth, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Crafting strategies that enhance the organisation’s contribution to the fiscus and economic development in the mining sector.
- Ensuring that the organisation taps into the appropriate market segments.
- Directing the overall communication strategies aimed at maintaining mutual business relationships with stakeholders and investment promotion.
- Developing and implementing global marketing and mineral resource accounting strategies.
- Marketing research and trend analysis.
- Monitoring and evaluating the organisation’s projects.
- Overseeing the implementation of the Marketing budget.
- Effective application of performance management tools and monitoring the achievement of results.
- Any other relevant duties as assigned by the Superior.
Requirements
- Marketing or any other relevant commercial Degree.
- MBA/MBL/MSc. Strategic Management or any other relevant Masters’ Degree is a must.
- Relevant professional qualification.
- 10 years’ marketing and mining related experience, 5 of which should be at senior management level, with exposure in dealing with international markets being a major advantage.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Sound Knowledge of an ERP system.
- Sound Knowledge of Integrated Results-Based Management (IRBM) performance management system
- Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence is a must.
