DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ccntrfaute to the formulation, implementation and review of polces and programmes that respond to critical ski Ils gacs in line with the Ministry’s strategc planand national development imperatves.
2. Lead and participate in the collection and analysis of data cn tne current skills landsoaoe wthn the province, including skill gaps, emerging trends, and induslry- scedficneeds.
3. Collaborate wth stakeholders to develop and mplement comprehensive workforce development strategies aligned with provincial economic development goals.
4. Develop and implement methodobges for conducting skils audits at various levels nduding sectoral audits and value chain audits.
5. Analyze and interpret data to inform policy decisions and resource a location related to wo’kforce deve opment.
6. Coordinate funding initiatives from government, private sector, and international donorstosupportwcrkforcedeve opment initiatives.
7. Facilitate partnarsnips between educational institutions, training providers, and employe’s to bridge ski Ils gape and enhance wrorkforoe opportunities.
8. Develop and manage programmes to promote career guidance and sk Ils training for diverse populations.
9. Monitor and eva rate the effect veness of workforce development programmes and make recommendations forimprovement.
10. Coordinate the dssemnation of information on soils audit find ngs and workforce development inifiatrvesto diverse audiences, including policymakers, businesses, educators and the general publ c.
11. Crganze workshops, presentations and othe’ cutreach activities to raise awareness acout workforce development needs and opportunities.
12. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakenolde’s to ensure collaboration and supcart for workforce deve opment initiatives.
13. Consolidate reperte on skills audit findings, workforce development progress and programme outcomes to live Director.
14. Supervse. coach and counsel subordinates.

QUALIFICATIONS. EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES
⦁ A Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Psychoogy. Human Resources. Research and Development, Adm cistration Labour studies. Development Studies, ICT or related fields.
⦁ AMaster’s Degree in related fields) isan added advantage.
⦁ Aminimum of six (6) years relevant profess onal experience in human resources
management and or skills auditand workforce development.
⦁ Ahign degreeof maturity, self-discipine. initiative and creativity.
⦁ KnowledgeofPudlicSerriceRegulaticnsand Procedures.
⦁ Possess strong communication skills.
⦁ Proven expe-ence in developing tods and nslrumenls within the Human Resource fied.
⦁ An understanding of public sector related tegsal ve and acccuntabi ily framewevk.
⦁ Proven track record in negotiation partnerships and work ng with multiple stakenolde’s.
⦁ Excel ent nterpersonai and communcalcn skills.
⦁ Good organizational, leadership, analytical, investigation, negptatcn and team building skils.
⦁ Experience with labour marketmcdellng and forecasting.
⦁ Know edgeofnatcnalandinternatonalskilsframeworks.
