Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and update the Annual Procurement Plan (APP) in line with organizational objectives. Ensure procurement activities are aligned with the National Development Strategy (NDS1/NDS2) and sectoral goals.

  • Developing procurement policies, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and monitoring the efficiency of purchasing lifecycle

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain or equivalent.
  • A Master’s degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain or equivalent as an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior management level in a tourism, government, parastatal or any other related industry.
  • Deep knowledge of Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act Chapter 22:24 and associated regulations.
  • Strong data analysis skills for cost reduction.
  • Great negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with procurement software and Excel.
  • Good communication and good public relations.
  • Strong strategic leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
