Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and coordinate the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies for all source markets in line with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate participation of ZTA and Exhibitors at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Coordinate familiarization tours.
  • Oversee the production and distribution of marketing collateral material.
  • Ensure brand consistency across campaigns and platforms.
  • Undertake any other duties necessary to ensure smooth organizational operations and achievement of marketing objectives.
  • Develop and implement market specific strategies for tourism promotion internationally.
  • Monitor brand perception in international source markets.
  • Promote and facilitate access to destination Zimbabwe from International markets.
  • Implement training programmes for international agents.
  • Monitoring annual or project specific budgets for the international markets.
  • Conducting staff performance appraisals.
  • Preparation of market monthly and quarterly reports.

Requirements

  • BSc. Honours degree in Marketing or equivalent.
  • A Master’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management/Marketing/Business Management as an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior position in tourism, or service-related industry.
  • Knowledge of general management in both public and/or private sector.
  • Experience in marketing in public and/or private sector.
  • A highly credible, reliable and trustworthy person.
  • Ability to negotiate and network effectively internally and externally.
  • Ability to provide supervisory guidance.
  • Strong Digital marketing skills.
