The Ministry of Skills Audit and Development is inviting applications to fill thefollowing vacant posts that have risen in the Ministry.

DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Recommend formulation and/or reviews of ICT policies, programmes and procedures in tne with curent trends natonal Development priorities and imperatives.
2. Managethe manienanceof d ICT network systems.
3. Provde astute data management service for the Ministry tnrough professional backup plans and disaster recovery serrice so as to enhance bus ness continuity controls.
4. Conduct research cn solutions tc emergng ICT systems security threats and keep the Department abreast with new trends in Information and Communication Technology.
5. Schedule upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems.
6. Co-ordinate general ICT trainng and ICT secunty and etiquette train ng of all Ministry ICT users.
7. Implement robust physical and logical controls, that is; creation and maintenance of user accounts, data encryplcn. profiling, strong passwords, CCTVs and biometric solutions among ethers.
8. Provde appropriate and timely ICT solutions and responses to Minsky’s operational orocesschallenges.
9. Manage the regular infrastructure audits and Went fy areas that need improvement
as well as continuously upgrade hardware and software technoogies in line with global trends.

QUALIFICATIONS.EXPERIENCEANDATTRIBUTES
⦁ A degree in any of the fol owing; Computer Engineering, Netwo’k Engineering, Corrputer Scer.ce. Business Management and Infonraton Technology or Informatton System.
⦁ Possession of a Master’s degree in the above mentioned fields would be an added advantage.
⦁ A min mum of sx (6) yea’s relevant professional experience, two of which must be at Pr ndpal Off cer Level.
⦁ Experient al Knowledge or an appreciation cf SAP BASIS CR ORACLE DBA’Develope’would be considered.
⦁ An understanding of ISO 2000 requirements for ICT governance advisory services.
⦁ Knowledge of networking, PC maintenance and repair.
⦁ Ability to relate al highest leva in live industry.
⦁ Asmart and strategic thinker.
⦁ Possess good leadership skils.
⦁ Adiaracter of integrity.
