DEBTORS SUPERVISOR – BULAWAYO

An FMCG company in the food industry that has manufacturing operations in Bulawayo is looking for a qualified and experienced Debtors Supervisor to join the Finance department.

DUTIES:

1. Controls and manages debtors accounts through reconciliations to ensure a healthy financial position of the company.
2. Monitors and reviews daily transaction postings to ensure accuracy and authenticity of reports for decision-making.
3. Prepares weekly debtors ageing report to help forecast amd manage the company’s cash flow position and making budgets.
4. Prepares monthly debtors reports for financial planning and audit purposes.
5. Assists in developing tight control measures and ensure Debtor Clerks comply with company operating procedure.
6. Reviews and approves credit application forms and credit checklist from potential customers.
7. Ensures timely closure of overdue customer accounts to curb bad debts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Degree in Accounting.
2. ACCA, CIS and/or CIMA professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
3. Minimum 3 years in a similar role with FMCG experience preferably.
4. Good communication skills – written and oral.
5. Proficient in Microsoft packages and SAGE/SAP softwares.
