Key Responsibilities
- Stratify collection activities to maximize cash receipts.
- Issue dunning letters to overdue accounts
- Use skip tracing technique to locate customers
- Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and determine reason for non-payment
- Repossess merchandise when payment is unlikely
- Issue credit hold notification
- Coordinate customer credit change with the credit department
- Recommend that accounts be shifted to a location agency
- Process small claims court complaints
- Recommend bad debt write offs
- Filling documentation pertaining to debt collections
Requirements
- A degree from a recognized University in Finance or Accounting
- At least (1) one year post qualification experience in debt collection
- A citizen of Zimbabwe
- A clean drivers licence class 4
