Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data-driven audit approaches to support IT, operational, and compliance audits.
- Support continuous auditing and monitoring initiatives using structured and unstructured data sources.
- Perform advanced analytics, including predictive and prescriptive analysis, to enhance audit planning and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with both operational and ICT Auditors to integrate data science outputs into audit scopes, testing, and reporting.
- Review and analyze large datasets from core banking systems, payment systems, ERP platforms, and other ICT systems.
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and security considerations are embedded in audit analytics.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Data Analyst and audit teams on data analytics methodologies.
- Prepare clear, value-driven audit insights and visualizations for management and audit committees.
- Support advisory engagements relating to data governance, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as CISA, CIA, CFE, ACCA, or relevant data science certifications are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data analytics, data science, IT audit or a related assurance environment.
- Experience within banking, financial services, or regulated institutions is an added advantage.
