Mwenezi Development Training Centre (MDTC) is a community-based organization operating in Mwenezi, Masvingo, Chiredzi, and Beitbridge districts. MDTC implements diversified community development and humanitarian programmes which are funded by various funding partners. MDTC has recently been given an award to implement a one-year USAID funded programme on “Strengthening resilience to enhance food security and nutrition of vulnerable rural communities to cope with recurrent shocks and stressors in Chiredzi district of Zimbabwe”. The organization have the following vacancies to implement the programme.
Project: Strengthening resilience to enhance food security and nutrition of vulnerable rural communities to cope with recurrent shocks and stressors in Chiredzi district.
Reports to M&E Officer
DUTIES
Ensure that all data entry into the beneficiary data base has been done correctly and timely while meeting all set targets.
Be responsible for quality data entry and data cleaning.
Ensure safe keeping of the created beneficiary database.
File all the registration forms
Continue throughout the programme to manage beneficiary database and support all programme activities relating to beneficiary information.
Compile all help desk, suggestion box related issues raised in the field in liaison with livestock officers and submit timeously to the M&E Officer
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum: Diploma in IT, statistics or any other relevant field.
Experience:
At least 3 years’ experience in working with NGOs.
At least 2 years experience working on similar position.
Experience in using data collection tools and gadgets.
Good computer skills/knowledge in SPSS, ODK, Microsoft office packages and data collection software packages.
