Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data extraction, cleansing, validation, and analysis to support IT and operational audit engagements.
  • Execute audit analytics to test controls, identify exceptions, and detect anomalies in systems and processes.
  • Support risk assessments and audit planning through data analysis and trend identification.
  • Develop dashboards, reports and visualisations to support audit findings and management reporting.
  • Assist in continuous auditing and monitoring activities under the guidance of the Data Scientist.
  • Analyse data from ICT systems, including core banking, payment systems, ERP, and other digital platforms.
  • Document analytics procedures and results in line with internal audit standards and methodology.
  • Support follow-up audits by analysing remediation data and management action progress.
  • Collaborate with ICT Auditors to align analytics work with audit objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in advisory engagements related to data, systems, and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • A certificate or studying towards CISA, CIA, ACCA or relevant data analytics certifications is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in data analysis, IT audit, internal audit, or a related environment.
  • Exposure to banking or financial services systems is an advantage.
