We are seeking a competent and experienced Customs Clearing Clerk to join our team in Zimbabwe. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in customs clearing and freight forwarding.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process import and export customs clearance documentation.
- Capture and submit customs entries using ASYCUDA World.
- Ensure compliance with ZIMRA customs laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Classify goods correctly using tariff codes and calculate applicable duties and taxes.
- Liaise with ZIMRA officials, shipping lines, transporters, border authorities, and clients to ensure efficient cargo clearance.
- Follow up on inspections, queries, and document discrepancies until resolved.
- Track consignments and provide clients with timely clearance updates.
- Maintain accurate clearance records and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with transport teams to facilitate timely cargo delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ proven hands-on experience as a Customs Clearing Clerk.
- Minimum qualification: Customs Legislation Procedures (CLP) Diploma.
- Practical experience with ASYCUDA World.
- Good knowledge of ZIMRA customs procedures, tariff classification, and import/export documentation.
