Customer Service Agent – COURIER SERVICES 301 views

The incumbent will be responsible for assisting clients in all phases of consignment preparation. Processing consignments via email, telephone and online booking portal.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor and managing the end-to-end shipment process in compliance with all company procedures, ensuring that the cargo is transported and that the customers is kept informed of relevant deviations.
• Provide customers with accurate quotations.
• Expediting any order as necessary, trace orders as required and notify customers of any activity concerning parcels.
• Track consignments and ensure all orders are duly delivered to customers within a stipulated operation turnaround time.
• Maintain a good working relationship with customers by responding to all inquiries and complaints concerning orders, invoicing, shipments.
• Advertise and negotiate special rates and packages to achieve and exceed order budgets.
• Establish an effective sales call cycle for key customers.
• Identify opportunities and develop potential customers.

Qualifications And Experience

• Possession of a Diploma or HND/ Degree in Logistics/ Transport / Fleet Management,Marketing
• Experience in the Logistics industry is mandatory with a bias in courier services
• At least one year working experience in a similar role.
• High pressure work environment
