Key Responsibilities
- Support tree nursery operations including propagation, maintenance, and record keeping.
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of afforestation and reforestation programs.
- Support data collection, field assessments and reporting on tree growth and survival.
- Assist in research and trials aimed at enhancing fruit productivity and overall crop performance.
- Support community engagement and extension activities related to tree planting and sustainable land use.
- Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards in all field and nursery work.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Crop Science, Plant Science, Horticulture, Agriculture, Forestry or a related field.
- Strong interest in plant production, agroforestry, and environmental conservation.
- Good fieldwork skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in team and independently.
- Passion for sustainability and community impact.
