Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying changes in the socio-economic environment and proposing action to avert losses.
  • Analysing debt and recommending appropriate action to management.
  • Assisting in accounting activities including financial management, debt management and banking.
  • Submitting reports to the Treasurer on debt management.
  • Initiating legal proceedings where debts are not paid within the agreed timeframe.
  • Reconciling debtors’ accounts and resolving debtor account queries.

Requirements

  • Minimum HND or Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • At least three (3) years’ relevant experience.
  • Clean record of service.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations governing debt collection.
  • Membership of a recognised professional body is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
