Key Responsibilities

• Identifying changes in socio-economic environment and propose action to avert losses.
• Analysing debt and recommending appropriate action to management.
• Assist in accounting activities which include financial management, debt management and banking.
• Submit reports to Executive Officer Finance on debt management
• Initiates legal proceedings if the debts are not paid within the agreed timeframe
• Reconciling debtor’s account and resolving debtors account queries.

Requirements

• A minimum HND or degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
• At least three years relevant experience in a public sector environment
• A clean record of service.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations governing debt collection.
• Membership of a recognized professional body is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• A clean Class 4 driver’s license
