Job Summary

A microfinance company is looking to fill in three vacancies that have arisen within the organization which are as follows:

CREDIT ANALYST
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide a thorough analysis of credit proposals from loans officers and clients.
Appraise management of common breaches and discrepancies within credit proposals.
Facilitate Credit Committee meetings and ensure timeous communication of minutes and credit decisions to lending units.
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure that all offer Letters/facility agreements are correctly signed.
Monitor the movement of security documents.
Prepare weekly arrears report.
Attend to audit exceptions.
Contribute to the review and update of the Credit Policy and the Credit Administration & Compliance Procedure Manuals.
Administer all loan products and recovery processes.

Education and Experience
Possess a degree in Banking and Finance, Business Studies or similar.
A diploma in Banking and Finance, Credit Management or Risk Management is an added advantage.
Have at least 3 years’ banking experience preferably in credit administration or similar.
Should have solid understanding of financial services regulations and related legislation.
Possess good report writing and presentation skills.
Willing to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
