The Commission is a dynamic organization that comprises of competent and professional staff. The vacancy is at Chiredzi Magistrates’ Court.

Key Responsibilities
- Interpret in court proceedings;
- Act as an intermediary in court proceedings involving minor children or other vulnerable witnesses or litigants;
- Visit prison and police cells with the Magistrates in order to interpret;
- Translate court documents and extra curial statements;
- Compile court statistics;
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Languages and Communication, or Media and Societal Studies, or any other relevant field approved by the Judicial Service Commission;
- At least 1 year working experience;
- Have an excellent command of English and be fluent in at least two or more indigenous languages:- Shona, Karanga and Shangaan;
- Working knowledge of Sign Language will be an added advantage;
- Be a person of High integrity.
