We seek to recruit experienced and qualified Core Shed Attendants x 2 based at Freda Rebecca Gold Mine in Bindura. We are looking for experienced Core shed Attendants to join our Technical Services team. This position reports to the Exploration Geological Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures health, safety, environment and quality standards are maintained.
- Collects boxes from both underground and surface.
- Marks core meters.
- Recovers core.
- Labels boxes.
- Conducts Geotechnical measurements on core
- Cuts core and samples.
- Dispatches samples.
- Assures and controls the quality of cores.
- Performs bulk density of cores.
- Performs diamond drilling, derigging and rigging.
- Stocks boxes.
- Performs any other duties assigned.
Requirements
- 5 O levels including English and Mathematics.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in gold mining/ exploration.
