CORE DRILLING ASSISTANT x 7 (GRADE – B2)
Reporting to the Core Driller, the job is responsible for the following:
Summary of Duties:
• Assisting Core Driller in setting up and operating diamond core drill rig.
• Working with the Core Driller in ensuring that drill rig components and rods are well
maintained.
• Assisting in handling, measurement, and storage of retrieved ore.
• Assisting in mixing drilling muds.
• Compliance with the SHEQ operating standards and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
• Three (3) Ordinary Level passes.
• 1-year experience.
• Sound knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems.
