Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and controlling the dry mortar production process through the plant control system to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.
  • Operating and monitoring batching, mixing, conveying, packaging, and palletizing systems in accordance with established operating procedures.
  • Monitoring process parameters and making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality, production efficiency, and equipment performance.
  • Responding promptly to alarms, equipment faults, and process deviations by initiating appropriate corrective actions and reporting abnormalities.
  • Recording production data, equipment performance, downtime, and shift activities accurately and preparing shift reports.
  • Ensuring production targets are achieved while minimizing waste, reducing downtime, and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
  • Performing routine operational inspections and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and company operating procedures.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing plant performance, operational efficiency, and product quality.

Requirements

  • National Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Industrial instrumentation & Automation, Electrical Engineering. or an equivalent technical qualification.
  • At least 2-3 years experience operating an automated manufacturing plant, preferably in dry mortar, cement, construction materials, or a similar process industry.
  • Working knowledge of PLC, SCADA, or HMI control systems and industrial process automation.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure and on a shift-based schedule.
