Job Description
Cassava Smartech is looking for a competent Control Room Operator to join the Vaya Services team. The main purpose of the role is to give operations administration and technical support for all Vaya Services products, platforms as well as to research and develop new products and services
Duties And Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Monitors the performance and uptime of the Vaya Services tracking platforms
• Oversees the activation of new customers and engagement of offline customers on all Vaya Service platforms.
• Offer support to Installation technicians by confirming activations at installations and repairs
• Monitor customer accounts in the billing system against what is on the tracking platforms and establish correct billing of accounts.
• Develop customized reports to meet customer expectations
• Compiles, classifies and analysis of statistical data arising from unit and vehicle faults.
• Administrate users on Vaya Services’ ticketing platforms
• Prepares and checks functionality of devices before and after installation to evaluate performance
• Conduct platform and unit related tests to determine the exact extent of the repair works needed. (Troubleshooting).
• Proactively monitor performance of active products and engage Customer Relationship Management representatives to ensure resolution of faults.
• Documents and escalates all technical VAYA SERVICES issues in the Issues Log to relevant departments or service providers
• Documents all other customer’s technical queries and providing problems trend reports.
• Manages inventories of tracker stocks, including keeping detailed records of inventory
• Advises management on ordering of stocks where necessary
• Perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications And Experience
Qualification, Skills and Experience
• Computer Science/Information Systems/Electronic engineering/Telecommunications
• 1-2 years experience in IT technical support related roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to present complex situations
• Ability to handle workload and deliver results in time
