Job Summary
The Zimbabwe School of Mines is a mining school in Zimbabwe that provides a higher education qualification in mining by providing competency-based training for high caliber, hands-on technicians.
Position Description
Job Title: Lecturers on 12 months contract x5
Reporting to: HOD Business Development and Innovation.
Closing Date: 16 December 2025
Location: Bulawayo
1. Contract Lecturer: Artificial Intelligence & Digital Transformation
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct applied research in AI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Digital Twins, or Industrial IoT for mining applications.

Teach modules in relevant fields.
Minimum Qualifications:

BSc Honours Degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Data Science, or a closely related field.

Demonstrable experience and a strong research interest in one of the key areas mentioned.

Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).

Studying towards an MSc/PhD in a relevant field is a requirement.
