Job Summary
The National Transitional Justice Working Group (NTJWG) is a platform established to provide the interface between transitional justice stakeholders and the official transitional justice processes in Zimbabwe. On 24 March the NTJWG will be commemorating the International Day for the Right to the Truth Concerning Gross Human Rights Violations and the Dignity of Victims. The right to truth entails the entitlement to know the complete truth about human rights violations, including the specific circumstances under which they occurred; who perpetrated the violations; who instructed them to do so if anyone and why. This year the NTJWG will commemorate the day by highlighting the unresolved truth concerning the abduction of Itai Dzamara.
Duties And Responsibilities
Therefore, we seek the services of a well-qualified Consultant to undertake the following task:
Produce a 3-minute commemorative video of International Day of Truth to highlight the importance of the day, the disappearance of Itai Dzamara and making the necessary recommendations.
Outputs and Deliverables
The following specific outputs are expected –
1. A three-minute commemorative video for the International Day of Truth.
Qualifications And Experience
The suitable consultant must possess the following:
• Demonstrable experience in developing commemorative videos.
• Relevant qualifications in videography would be an added advantage
The Consultant should have at least five years of experience in creative design.
