Exciting Consultancy Opportunity in Capacity Building!

Zimbabwe Health Interventions (ZHI) is seeking an experienced New Business Development and Proposal Writing Capacity Building Consultant for a key 8-day (64-hour) assignment between 15 November and 15 December 2025. This is a critical role in strengthening our resource mobilization efforts to support our mission of delivering high-impact, integrated health interventions in Zimbabwe.

The Consultant will be responsible for:

1. Conducting a rapid capacity assessment of our senior management and program staff.
2. Developing tailored NBD and proposal writing tools for the current funding landscape.
3. Facilitating an intensive 5-day, in-person training workshop in Harare, Zimbabwe.
4. Delivering a comprehensive capacity-building report.

We are looking for a consultant with:

– A master’s degree in business development, Public Health, or a related field.
– Minimum 10 years of international experience working with major donor agencies and implementing large health/development programs.
– Minimum 10 years of proven experience leading successful resource mobilization efforts for international NGOs.
– A demonstrable track record of high strike rates for winning funding.
– Excellent training and facilitation skills.
