ZNNP+ is an umbrella body that represents the interests of people living with HIV in Zimbabwe in their diversity. The organization is represented in support groups and community-based organizations at all provincial, district and ward levels of Zimbabwe. ZNNP+’s mission is “An environment where people live positively.”
Scope and Purpose of Assignment
The purpose of the assignment is to evaluate the HIPA programme impacts. The programme aimed at challenging intellectual property barriers that prevent PLHIV in Zimbabwe from accessing HIV and related treatment services. The organization would like to produce a high-quality report that would be critical to motivate future support, draw best practices and as well as address the gaps. To achieve this, ZNNP+ seeks the support of a consultant who will evaluate the entire programme and come up with a detailed report based on the Terms of Reference. The consultant will be expected to complete the task within 15 days.
Experience
The Consultant should prove to have done some traceable work related to the assignment; at least proven experience in end of programme evaluation, particularly on the nexus between HIV and Intellectual Property Rights; and experience in working with a team of people living with HIV professionals.
Qualifications
The prospective consultant should have a Masters Degree in Social Sciences, Law, Research, Public Health, Knowledge Management or equivalent. A PhD in these fields will be an added advantage. The consultant should have a proven minimum of 5 years’ experience in conducting high quality evaluations. Knowledge and experience of utilising Human Rights Based Approaches will be required.
