The National Transitional Justice Working Group (NTJWG) is a platform established to provide the interface between transitional justice stakeholders and the official transitional justice processes in Zimbabwe. Memorialisation is a tenet of transitional justice and a cultural depiction of the past. Memory-related initiatives can serve as a platform to transform hegemonic discourses where past experiences come from rather than being limited. Memorialisation supports the identification of current legacies with past constraints and works as a precondition for social acceptance and future processes of forgiveness and reconciliation.

Duties And Responsibilities

We seek the services of a well-qualified Consultant to finish building a community hall by undertaking the following tasks:
1. Going on-site and doing a comprehensive bill of quantities needed to finish the building
2. Transporting the materials to the workstation (Tsholotsho)
3. Finish building the community hall
4. Insert a metal plaque in the hall

Time frame of Deliverables
The community hall should be completed over 3 months or less. Specific work plan to be agreed upon between the consultant and the organisation.

Outputs and Deliverables
The following specific outputs are expected –
1. A completed community hall in Tsholotsho.

Qualifications And Experience

The suitable consultant must possess the following:
• Demonstrable experience in building
• Relevant qualifications in building would be an added advantage
The Consultant should have at least five years of experience in building.
