A Highly reputable, stable and diversified Group seeks the services of mature and highly experienced & qualified COMPRESSOR TECHNICIAN
COMPRESSOR TECHNICIAN position
QUALIFICATIONS. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Class One Millwright, apprentice trained.
> Class 4 Drivers license
> At least 1 year experience in Mining/Manufacturing Industry.
> Good communication skills.
> A self-starter who can work under minimum supervision.
> Experience with mobile & stationary compressors to be an added advantage.
Job Summary:
> Troubleshoot, service, overhaul & repair air compressors, air dryers, auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers.
> Pressure wash (where possible) and effectively clean the customer’s entire equipment pad including skids, coolers, concrete, tanks.
> Communicate with the customer and administrator/planner regarding all services performed and clearly present all options for any required repairs, upgrades, or other customer needs.
> Completely fill out all service reports, start-up forms, warranty forms.
> Assist other Service Technicians.
> Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians as scheduled by the Administrator/Planner.
> Promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal and protective equipment.
