Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate venue selection, site visits and room setup in compliance with set regulations.
  • Source and negotiate contracts and manage relationships with service providers including caterers, decorators, electricians and security providers.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, track expenses and reconcile post-event finances.
  • Negotiate favourable terms to maximize return on investment.
  • Oversee décor, branding, signage and technical setup including lighting, sound systems and staging.
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems that may affect the smooth flow of events.

  • Lead interface with resource persons, clients and representatives from regulatory authorities.
  • Develop new programmes and revamp existing flagship shows.
  • Ensure broadcasting continuity and quality control.
  • Achieve monthly revenue targets in liaison with the Manager.
  • Ensure quality production and broadcast of adverts and sponsored programmes.
  • Monitor market trends to improve client satisfaction and programming.
  • Implement professional updating skills training for producers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or any Social Science.
  • Minimum of one (1) year working experience in events, hospitality, marketing and communication.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Media, Journalism, Marketing, Communication or related qualification.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of working experience in multimedia content production involving print, video, audio and graphics.
  • BSc Honours Degree in Media Journalism, Marketing, Communication or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of working experience in a marketing environment.
  • Well-versed in media markets with proven knowledge and skills in client relationship management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Journalism, Communication, Broadcasting or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years post-qualification experience in a broadcasting environment.
  • A Master’s Degree in Media, Journalism, Communication, Broadcasting or equivalent is an added advantage.
  • Master of Science Degree in Marketing, Media, Communication, Journalism or related field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years working experience in Marketing, Media, Communication or Business.
