NetOne Cellular (Private) Limited seeks to recruit a highly motivated, outstanding and results oriented individual to fill the following position.

RESPONSIBILITY
The incumbent shall be responsible to the IT Cloud Architect.
KEY JOB PURPOSE
To configure, deploy, document and maintain, secure and scalable Cloud and Data Centre Infrastructure.

PRINCIPAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Configures Cloud and Data Center Equipment (Servers, SAN Switches, Storage Devices);
2. Implements Network Security Policies (Firewall and GPO) Maintain and optimize data Center equipment. Identify potential threats and prevent unauthorized access to the data center;
3. Monitors server infrastructure performance monitoring of environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and power supply in the Data Center;
4. Designs and develops cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and services that meet the organizations requirements
5. Deploys new applications to the cloud and migrating existing applications from on-premises infrastructure to
the cloud
1. Implements security measures like encryption and access controls and regularly audit the cloud environment to ensure compliance.
2. Monitors and performs data backups and disaster recovery;
3. Conducts regular vulnerability scans and security assessments of Servers;
4. Monitors services availability of servers adhering to SLAs;
5. Runs scripts, templates, and automation workflows to streamline repetitive tasks, enable self-service capabilities for Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure, improve the overall agility and scalability of the cloud environment;
6. Provides smooth data flow, interconnectivity, and compatibility between on-premises and cloud environments;
7. Enables cross-platform integration with 3rd party systems;
8. Establishes Data Center equipment communication with other systems;
9. Remediates compliance issues and vulnerabilities on Cloud and Data Center Infrastructure;
10. Enforces access controls in Cloud and Data Center, and confidentiality agreements to safeguard sensitive information;

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
⦁ First Degree Information Systems or equivalent;
⦁ At least two (2) years relevant working experience;
⦁ Cloud Certification.

COMPETENCIES
⦁ Strong troubleshooting skills;
⦁ Knowledge of change management.
⦁ Understanding of disaster recovery planning;
⦁ Knowledge of backup methods, data replication and snapshot technologies;
⦁ Familiarity with the best data centre security practices;
⦁ Proficiency in server provisioning, configuration and monitoring;
⦁ Proficiency in scripting languages and Linux Administration ability to design and architect cloud solutions;
