Key Responsibilities
- Corporate Partnerships Development – Identify and onboard pharmaceutical companies for loan and financial service partnerships. Negotiate and secure Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) or service-level agreements (SLAs) with key pharmaceutical stakeholders. Develop relationship maps and maintain regular engagement with decision-makers in pharma companies.
- Client Acquisition & Onboarding – Develop and implement strategies to onboard staff of pharmaceutical companies as clients. Work with HR departments to facilitate salary deduction arrangements.
- Sector-Specific Product Marketing – Work with product development teams to tailor loan, invoice discounting, or credit solutions to the needs of pharmaceutical businesses and their staff. Design and execute campaigns targeting inventory financing, working capital, or salary-based loans.
- Market Intelligence & Analysis – Conduct competitor and market analysis specific to the pharmaceutical sector. Track sector trends (e.g., drug pricing, regulatory changes) that impact client cash flows and financing needs.
- Lead Generation & Conversion – Generate qualified leads from pharmaceutical companies and convert them into active clients. Set and meet monthly and quarterly lead generation and conversion targets.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management – Maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key pharma clients, associations, and industry stakeholders. Attend pharmaceutical exhibitions, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company.
- Performance Reporting & Insights – Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, client feedback, and uptake rates. Provide regular reports on pharmaceutical sector accounts and partnership outcomes.
- Conduct market research to understand the pharmaceutical industry’s value chain, trends, and key players.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to engage pharmaceutical clients, leveraging microfinance solutions to address their financial needs.
- Work with the operations team to effectively onboard pharmaceutical companies and ensure smooth integration of services.
Requirements
- Commercials Degree/Diploma
- Excellent communications and customer service skills.
- Knowledge and experience in MFI operations.
- Strong attention to detail and a mind for numbers.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, with at least 1 years focusing on the pharmaceutical industry or health-related sectors.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry or health related sector and its value chain.
