Job Summary
Midlands State University is inviting applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the post of Driver. The ideal candidate will support institutional operations through safe transportation of staff and timely collection/delivery of diagnostic samples.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive university staff to approved destinations
- Deliver and collect pathology samples from service providers
- Maintain vehicles in clean and roadworthy condition
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle checks
- Submit monthly vehicle log sheets to the HR & Administration Officer
- Perform any additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
- Valid Class 3 and 4 driver’s license
- Minimum of five Ordinary Level (O’ Level) passes, including English Language
- At least one year of relevant work experience
- Valid defensive driving certificate and retest certification required
