CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Grade 9
The Civil Engineering Technician will be under the Engineering and Technical Services Department and reporting to the Engineer.
Qualifications and Attributes:
⦁ A Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
⦁ Minimum of 2 years experience preferably in a Local Authority.
⦁ Valid Police clearance.
⦁ At least 25 years old.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for:
⦁ Supervise and monitor project infrastructural developments within the district.
⦁ Coordinate road projects.
⦁ Ensure maintenance of road infrastructure.
⦁ Control infrastructural development in accordance with designs.
⦁ Develop bill of quantities for specific projects.
⦁ Produce proposals, work budgets, work schedules, and reports on projects.
⦁ Water designs and maintenance.
⦁ Sewer reticulation and maintenance.
⦁ Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
