Job Summary

Reporting to the Civil Engineer, the incumbent will perform the following duties:
Duties And Responsibilities
Overseeing the doily operations of the assigned section(s) and activities of subordinate staff.
Carrying out routine and periodic maintenance works of council infrastructure as per set standards.
Direct supervision of contracted works, monitoring, control of all council infrastructure projects.
Preparation of reports, budgets and work schedules for management and public information systems.
Computer skills in CAD and MS packages
Ability to work under pressure to deliver within tight deadlines.
Performing any other duties assigned to by the Engineer.
Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications and Attributes Engineering
Minimum of Higher Notional Diploma in Civil/ Water Engineering.
Minimum of five (5) years experience preferably in a local authority or similar organizational operations.
Professional membership with ZIE or ECZ will be an added advantage
A clean class four (4) driver’s license will be an added advantage.
