Applications are invited from qualified and experienced persons to
fill the following posts which have arisen in Runde Rural District Council

• CIVIL ENGINEER (GRADE 10)
  Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for the designing and building of sound infrastructure such as roads, bridges, water and sewer system.
Responsible for overseeing all planning, construction and renovation of buildings and structures
Managing and developing construction projects.
Carrying out technical feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
Monitoring projects and compiling reports on project status and implementation.
Managing plant, equipment and materials to ensure optimum utilization.
Budgetary control for all development projects .
Ensuring compliance to statutory regulations and requirements on execution of works.

Qualifications and Experience

A first degree in Civil Engineering/ Water Engineering from a reputable University.
At least 2 years’ experience in the design and maintenance of public infrastructure.
Membership of a Professional Body an added advantage
Class 4 driver’s licence.
At least 30 years of age
