Job Summary
Tsapo Group of Companies is a fast-growing organisation in the motor industry and is seeking to employ the services of a Civil Engineer.

Duties And Responsibilities
1. Analyzing survey reports, long-range plans, maps and other data to design new projects.
2. Considering budget, regulations and environmental hazards during risk-analysis stage.
3. Preparing material, equipment and labour cost estimates and confirming that costs are within the budget.
4. Forecasting design and construction timeline.
5. Completing and submitting all permit applications to the appropriate agencies and ensuring projects are completed throughout the design and construction stages.
6. Overseeing soil testing to establish soil strength and building feasibility.
7. Using design software to create project drawings and renderings.
8. Managing repair and maintenance of infrastructure projects.
9. Reviewing government regulations and ordinances.
10. Confidently liaising with clients and other professional subcontractors.
11. Tender management.

Qualifications And Experience
1. Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable institution.
2. A minimum of 5 years hands on experience in Civil works e.g roads, dams and other civil engineering works.
3. Experience in drafting tenders is a must.
4. Experience is leasing of construction equipment and drafting contracts is also a must.
5. Mature person (35-45 years).
6. Managerial experience is also a prerequisite.
