JOB DESCRIPTION

We are on the lookout for a recent graduate/student in the final year for an internship role as a cinematographer/videographer. Graphic design skills will be an added advantage. You will work as part of a creative team, & report to the Head of the Department to deliver on filming and editing film & video content

• Assist in the qualitative aspects of production, (e.g., quality control, translations, reviews of layout and graphic design etc.) to meet standards as set out in the Communication Strategy
• Assist in ensuring that the existing communications centre/studio produces regular high-quality products for the organization and other commercial clients and that its operations are sustainable
• Sync visuals with audio & Voiceover tracks
• Basic sound engineering for final animations
• Prepare all animation elements for compositing, including delivering in set formats
• Enhance productions with special effects at post-production stage
• Assists in establishing the camera setup for every shot.
• Assists in determining the lighting for every scene
• Explores the potential of every location
• Elevates the vision of the director

Software Knowledge

• Adobe Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro, Encoder)
• Final Cut/Davinci Resolve

Key Competencies Required

• Good knowledge of video editing software
• Ability to handle and work with all types of locations
• Script writing
• Good understanding of stage setting and lighting
• Ability to interact, communicate & present ideas to customers
• Professionalism regarding time, targets and deadlines

Qualifications

• Degree in creative arts, film, communications or relevant qualification.
• Strong creative and practical thinking
