Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chinese Interpreter to join the company in the mining
industry. As a Chinese Interpreter you will be responsible for accurately translating written and
verbal content from Chinese to the target language and vice versa. You will primarily work with a
range of documents such as business contracts, technical manuals and more. Your role will play a
vital part in facilitating effective communication and maintaining linguistic accuracy for
organisational projects.

Responsibilities:
Translate various Chinese and English documents.
Responsible for all foreign-related translation and interpretation work of the company.
Conduct thorough research to fully understand the terminology and concepts related to the subject
matter at hand.
Ensure accurate and consistent translations while maintaining context tone and style.
Review and proofread translations for quality assurance and adherence to specific guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including writers editors and project managers to ensure
timely and accurate translation delivery.
Stay updated on industry-specific terminology trends and language advancements relevant to
Chinese translation.
Adhere to project timelines prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Possess certain business communication and negotiation skills.
frequent travelling to and from Harare to the mine site in Hwange.
Complete other matters assigned by the company.

Qualifications
Linguistic qualification in Chinese
At least 2 years of working experience as a Chinese interpreter
Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese and English
