Job Summary

Suitably qualified, experienced and motivated candidates are invited to apply for the position of Chief Teller which has arisen within Personal Banking Department.

Duties And Responsibilities
Summary
 Scrutinizes all vouchers for correctness and capture accurately in the system
 Process cash deposits and withdrawals in T24.
 Process inbound, outbound and foreign remittances pay outs.
 Pays out and receives money including CIT systematically as laid out in Teller manual
 Ticks back journals for other tellers daily after close of business to detect any error made during processing.
 Balance till cash after serving last client for the day.
 Presents all products and services to clients and assesses clients’ needs and recommends appropriate products and services.
 Coordinates other Branch Tellers to ensure smooth flow of transactions
 Checks correctness of Client’s details on application form to ensure completeness as per operations procedure manual.
 Maintains Vault book as per laid down procedure.
 Checks indemnities, power of attorney instructions before capturing transactions into the system.
 Core custodianship of Branch cash resources.

Qualifications And Experience
Qualification, Skills and Experience
 A degree in Banking and Finance.
 Diploma in IOBZ
 2 to 4 years’ experience in Branch Banking
