Job Summary
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following
vacant positions that have arisen within a local company in the security industry. The
candidates will be based in Harare.
Duties And Responsibilities
Supervise the investigation of any losses to the client or the company.
Ensure that supervisors carry out visit over checks during the day and night.
Ensure identification of gaps at client premises through surveys and a report thereof.
Supervise and oversee security functions in assigned zones.
Evaluate access and analyse performance of supervisory personnel.
Develop and implement preventative measures against accidents, thefts and other
risks. Ensure compliance of applicable policies and regulations while implementing
security measures.
Prepare and submit security reports i.e. incident reports, monthly reports and survey
reports.
Supervise operations team in accordance with the organization’s policies and
applicable laws Including interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning,
and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees;
addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Ensure all guard changes are communicated to clients, prepare reports for
management to aid decision making and keep them updated on all matters of
security and discipline.
Ensure that signed deployment sheets are submitted to HR daily without fail.
Ensure guards are efficiently and effectively roistered to avoid over/under staffing.
Qualifications And Experience
At least 5 O’ Levels and a relevant professional security qualification
At least three years supervisory experience
Computer literate
Good Reporting Writing Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Guard force experience will be an added advantage
A clean Drivers’ License, class 3 will be an added advantage
