Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinates the development, implementation, and review of operational Safety, Health,
Environment and Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
Coordinates the development and implementation of best practices in the management of Safety,
Health, Environment, and Quality (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) all Airports.
Ensures compliance to Safety, Health, and Environment Regulations by all Airports.
Coordinates continuous Airports Safety and Occupational Health risk management processes and
ensure adequate implementation of recommended controls.
Ensures compliance to the Organisation’s Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Assurance Plan.
Analyse organization systems, processes, and activities and ensure adequate implementation of ICAO,
ACI, IATA recommendations on Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Management in
aviation.
Coordinates the timeous implementation of the operations of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality
Management CAPS generated from IMS first-party and third-party assessments.
Develops and ensure implementation of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality awareness
programs/incident prevention strategies at all business units.
Participates and assists the Airport Managers in the investigation of any workplace accidents /
incidents to prevent a recurrence.
Prepares and timeously submits ad-hoc, weekly, monthly, and annual performance reports on the
Organisation’s Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Assurance performance or other relevant
matters considered for decision-making as guided by the QAM.
Qualifications & Experience
BSc Honours Environmental Science of Equivalent / SHEMS / Equivalent
MBA / MSc in Environment Management an added advantage
At least 8 years experience with 4 years experience in a similar role in aviation, mining,
manufacturing or construction industry.
Skills and Competences
Competence in IMS (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) development and implementation.
Competence in IMS (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) Systems Internal Auditing.
Project Management.
ISO Systems Lead Auditor.
