NetOne Cellular (Private) Limited seeks to engage a dynamic, self-driven, and results-oriented professional to fill the critical role of Chief Finance Officer. The incumbent will be part of the team responsible for the formulation and implementation of the corporate vision and strategy.
RESPONSIBILITY
The incumbent will report to the Group Chief Executive Officer.
KEY JOB PURPOSE
The Chief Finance Officer is responsible for designing and implementing sound financial strategies and policies for the long-term growth of the business. The position serves as an advisor to the Board on the company’s financial strategies.
PRINCIPAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide regular, accurate and sound financial advice to the Board. Group CEO and other management team members;
- Formulate and implement short and long term financial plans;
- Coordinate and monitor the company budgeting processes and secure timely approvals for company budgets;
- Develop, recommend and implement innovative ways to increase revenue and conta in costs in order to improve company performance;
- Monitor the profitability of company products and services to ensure attainment of profit targets;
- Oversee timeousand accurate financial reporting cydesfor the company;
- Coordinate year-end audit processes, in collaboration with internal a nd external auditors;
- Develop and implement effective internal control systems;
- Ensure adherence to sound Corporate Governance principles;
- Ensure compbance with all statutory requirements induding tax regulations as stipulated by the laws and statutes of Zimbabwe;
- Develop and maintain healthy relationshipswith key stakeholders locally, regionally and internationally.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Must be a holder of a Finance/Accounting Degree;
- Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA);
- An MBA/MBL/MSc will bo an added advantage;
- At least 10 years’ experience in a senilar or related environment of which 6 years must be at Senior Management level.
