CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER
We have been retained by Mutapa Investment Fund to facilitate the recruitment and selection of self-driven and competent personnel to fill the vacant position of Chief Finance Officer that has arisen within their organization.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develops and implements financial strategies aligned with the Fund’s overall objectives to drive growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
Leads financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes to provide insights for decision¬making and performance evaluation.
Formulates and implements funding strategies and pricing models in line with set strategic goals.
Analyses financial data, performance metrics, and economic trends to guide decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
Manages capital allocation, investment strategies, capital raising activities to optimize the Fund’s financial structure and supports business growth.
Oversees financial reporting, ensures accuracy, completeness, adherence to accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborates with other executives to evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships, conducting due diligence and financial assessments.
Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, reporting requirements, and financial laws, maintaining transparency and integrity in financial operations and collaborates with business units to identify emerging risks and trends.
Liaises with stakeholders, including executives, board members, regulators, and investors, providing clear and concise financial reports and insights.
Manages relationships with financial institutions, investors, and external auditors.
Provides risk-related support and guidance to business development initiatives and collaborates with internal audit and compliance teams on risk-related initiatives.

JOB RELATED ATTRIBUTES
The ideal incumbent must possess the following minimum qualifications, competences, and experience:
• Master’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Chattered Accounting or any related qualification.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive Finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Excellent leadership skills, business acumen and personal integrity.
